I think just to the left of your right shoulder blade. I'm thinking about getting my nose pierced but Joel says I might get HepC.

I have two tattoos already and I like the idea of lower back but off to one side, not in the center.

erin, i'd go with the right delt. and then i'd tattoo andrew with a heart that says "mom" in the middle with an arrow through it. and corinne needs some on her knuckles that spell out "LOVE" on the right hand and "HATE" on the left. and clark, that tattoo of bob marley on your left cheek is just fantastic.

You did not strike me as the tattoo type but then again, I don't strike most people as a pierced belly button type and I had one of those for a long time. I would say usually to get one in a place that is covered most of the time but where you could show it off in mixed company if you wanted to. Not sure where the best place with those criteria would be. Sam said to tell you his brother is a tattoo artist.

hello blogger. i just happened to anonymously come across your blog and i think getting a tattoo is a great idea! you should entertain the idea of something with large flames and maybe a picture of that studly husband of yours! get it on your arm like that fank guy said. i definately don't know him but he sounds like a genius (and often is a bearded adonis from what i can anonymously deduce)! anyhow in summary: anonymous, deltoid, flames, fank-brilliant, husband-stud.

What about your big toe? I don't know if they even do that. I think good options are places that don't tend to get larger as people age. I've seen some stretched out tats and they don't look good.
